Extended Care
In the Fall of 2007, we made the addition of Extended Care to our program. The instructional time of Preschool (9 am -Noon) and Lunch Bunch (noon-2:30, Mon-Fri) are still in place.
Added to the schedule are :
Before School Care: 7:00am - 9:00am
After School Care: until 5:30
Extended Care is only available during the school year. We are closed during the summer months.
In addition to the above Extended Care schedule, we also have:
Semester I: In-Service Package
Semester II: In-Service Package
These programs are designed for (but not limited to) MISD staff and follows the McKinney Independent School District's school calendar. If MISD staff is required to work, CPCS's Extended Care will be available.
Preschool classes begin the Tuesday after Labor Day and end the Friday before Memorial Day. All other Holidays and Days off are the same as the McKinney I.S.D. school calendar

May my older child attend the In-Service Package in August? No, the In-Service packages are only for children enrolled here at Crossing Point.
Can we use the Extended Day Care on a drop-in bases? Yes, if there is space available. We still must maintain our teacher/student ratios. We ask that drop-in arrangements be made in advance. Cost is $15 per day, Mon-Thurs and $30 on Fridays.
